Development is a never-ending thing in Whitefish. This is new site for Whitefish's new City Hall, Fire Station and Police Station location. But until then, it's a biking spot of mine. I like to ride down the high steep lopes. In the background is Big Mountain and downtown Whitefish. Late spring 2007, Whitefish, MT.

This is the view of Big Mountain from Edgewood Road just outside of Whitefish. Edgewood Dr. winds through the countryside between the outskirts of Whitefish and Columbia Falls. Along Edgewood Dr. are several beautiful farms and ranches like the one in this photo. The view along this road is one of best you will ever see. Late winter 2007, Whitefish, MT.

After the event, participants, officials, as well as, spectators gather for free beer at the award ceremony that is traditionally held at the Hellroaring Pub located just a short walk from where the event takes place. A place that will be truly missed by many. Big Mountain Ski Resort, Whitefish, MT. Posted by Picasa
