Here I am helping unloading Buffalo meat brought in from Yellowstone National Park. Some 300 buffalo were slaughter at the park in order to control the buffalo population at the park. The meat was donated to various food banks around the country. The food bank here at Whitefish, MT went to Wyoming and picked up a trailer full of buffalo meat to feed the homeless and the less fortunate here in Whitefish, MT. The food bank is right behind the Whitefish Pilot where I work at. I was told that the meat would help feed the needed for about two months. Posted by Picasa
