The next day after hiking to the Granite Park Chalet, I had to get up ealier than I like to to drive 35 miles to Kalispell from where I was staying. The reason for this was for training at my new job as a graphic designer for the Whitefish Pilot Newspaper. Even though I will be working in Whitefish, I had to go to the production location for the training.
It was an all day event, so I didn't get a chance to go to the park to do anything major.
The next day I would be off. My plan was to go to Columbia Falls to see my boss, and in the afternoon, I plan to go rafting down the Flathead River in Glacier National Park.
